This year marks the first year Nite Lites alone will sponsor Winter Wonderland, after a three year partnership with American1Credit Union. Nite Lites is pleased to sponsor Winter Wonderland bringing you all what you have enjoyed in the past as well as extending some of the activities with additional nights.
Winter Wonderland has had in attendance over 25,000 patrons, viewing the rows of live potted decorated themed trees. The themed trees are decorated by various groups wishing to support a specific community charity by having those who visit Nite Lites voting with a monetary vote, or bidding the highest on a tree they like decorated with the ornaments and gifts that please them as well as planting their live tree.
The Holiday Tree Decorating Contest has brought a fun and competitive way of raising much needed funds for the many community charities and has had over $24,000 raised in the past three years. We hope you will join us this year, bringing your holiday cheer and competitive spirit in raising much needed funds for our special charities.
When attending Winter Wonderland one can participate in making a holiday craft on certain weekends courtesy of Home Depot, view a live holiday themed puppet show, take a ride on Santa's express, visit Santa at his North Pole Castle, on the first three Fridays you could pet one of Santa's reindeer and of course view and vote for your favorite tree and even bid on one for a lasting memory of this Christmas. Winter Wonderland is included with your admission to Nite Lites.

Dates and Hours:
Winter Wonderland will be open for 16 nights before Christmas this year, from 6-9pm at the American1Event Center.
Dates will be Friday November 30th thru Sunday December 1st, Friday December 7th thru Sunday December 9th, Friday December 14th thru closing night Sunday December 23rd.
On the closing night the highest bidders of the trees will be contacted and given specifics on how to purchase and pick up their decorated tree in time for Christmas Eve night.
* Charity Donations:
Each charity will keep the proceeds generated from the monetary voting and the bids from the silent auction. After the event is over, Nite Lites will let you know how much money was raised for your charity and will send a check to your charity on your behalf. Also, there will be a bonus donation to the top three trees who have collected the money in their voting boxes, for 1st place $500, 2nd place $300, and 3rd place $200 given courtesy of Nite Lites.
*Contest Fee:
$60 per tree. The entry fee includes the 5-6 foot potted short needled pine tree for decorating. Only 50 trees will be provided.
*Contest Rules:
Your tree will be provided by Nite Lites/Winter Wonderland. Cutting the tree is prohibited. Tree light trimming is allowed. You provide all decorations, skirts, lights and an extension cord (Minimum of 8 foot please) for your tree. All decorations used in decorating the tree will go with the tree and will not be returned to you, so please do not use anything of personal or sentimental value as it will not be returned to you. Don't forget to bring something to wrap around the large root ball of your tree, like a tree skirt, wrapping paper, snow blanket etc. Any accent pieces snowmen, Santa's, stuffed animals again will go with the tree for silent auction.
*Contestants:
Must decorate their tree at the American1event center during specific "Tree Decorating Times" Monday November 26th from 12pm-6pm and Tuesday November 27th 10am -4pm. You can come at any time stated to decorate. All trees must be completely decorated by Tuesday November 27th at 4pm.
The trees will be placed in the spot they will stay for the event PRIOR to decorating. Spots will be assigned by random draw and trees will also be placed randomly. This makes it fair across the board and no one has an unfair advantage. Choosing or switching your tree is not allowed. *IMPORTANT : It is the responsibility of the registrant AND the charity chosen (if not one in the same) to spread the word and help to get the people to come and support your tree by making donations and bidding in the silent auction during event nights. Without personally promoting it, you may not make as much for your charity as you hope.
To participate, just print down the registration form and send it to the address on the form with your payment. REMEMBER ONLY 50 TREES WILL BE PROVIDED THIS YEAR. So please reserve your spot.
